Fellow Creekers,
I was able to pick up 24bdft of Ancient Chinese Pine a month or so ago for less than $20. The trees were cut down over 600 years ago, the individual boards have been milled since. I have 5 boards 5”-6” wide, ~1” thick and around 8’ long rough sawn.
Anyone have any experience working with Chinese Pine? What is it similar to?
