It seems like most of the time I finish vertical surfaces, I end up with a dark line at the bottom where gravity has brought the finish down. I don't mean just large vertical surfaces, even just edges of a table top for instance.
What's the best way to handle this to avoid it? Of course going light with the finish is a good approach, but it can be tough at times. I've thought about using some painters tape on the edges somehow and doing them seperately.
