This Philadelphia style Sack-Back was made for a client who requested a “high-end” Windsor chair for her home. The chair is constructed using traditional methods/techniques and has ball and cylinder legs and carved hands/knuckles. The finish is milk paint and consists of 2 coats of red base with one coat of black top coat. After painting, 2 coats of oil were applied to protect and add gloss.
