5" high, 6 1/4" diameter. Finish 2 light coats satin poly. Hand sanded the hard way. Lost some hide working this item. My daughter just had to have.

Very nice piece of burl, Allan!! Sanding those NE burls is like sanding a spinning sawblade! Nice job.

Wow, that is an aggressive rim. Did you have to register it as a weapon?? Beautiful job. I like the heavier form and the punji sticks across the top.

Really a nice looking weopon errr.... I mean bowl. Wow that would take some hide off if you slipped.

A sanding situation like this burl could use an extra long set of hemostats with a curved end. That would eliminate the skinned knuckles!
