Is there a easier way to make tags, I know you can in corel draw but the numbers change and the po number changes and name of part changes alll the time so I will have to change 3 different lines for each tag is there a easier way and I just dont know ? sometimes i get orders for 300 plus tags each time I was thinking about speeding up the process some what.

Yep, there is an easier way. Well, there is a hump to get over in learning it but far more efficient than retyping all that info. Just go to Corel Help and search on "merge." You put the info for all tags in a text file and Corel will merge it into a template file so you can make a bunch of tags at a time.

Search for "print merge" on SMC. Also, chaeck out Roy Brewer's tutorial on this site. http://www.engravingconcepts.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=13&Itemid=36

Also Check out Print Merge Numerator. Well worth the price if you do a fair bit of this work.

There is a brilliant CorelDraw macro somewhere on this forum, NameTagCreator and SerialNamer - they are both pretty much the same, I must have downloaded them at different times. They are very usefull and have made my life so much easier, I have used the macros for name tags and for the Import Data function for individual names engraved on pens.

The only problem is, after much searching with various search terms I cannot find the thread - does anyone have any idea?

Search for NameTagCreator and look for Shaddy's Engraving and you will find that macro.
