Little bowl with a little of everything

A little (1 ½ by 3 ½) bowl with a little bit of everything. It came from an area where a limb split into three branches. It might have been an elm tree that blew down last summer, but I am not sure. I took it out of the firewood pile. It has a bark inclusion, some chatoyance, some cracks and worm or insect tracks. Perhaps it has character.

That is making good use of a odd piece of wood and answers the challenge of what the wood wants to become. Nicely done. It is fun to make something out of the odd pieces and not just the straight sections.
