well i like this not have to work every day off friday and today . turn a few pens and got me a few green madrone burl turkey call blank and was told to boil it before turning . never burl wood the first for me ..thanks for looking

i just search here on the board and every were else to try to find how to do it ..boil it 1" thick per hr. for me on the blanks i boil it for 1.5 hr . this wood was green and has NOT crack at all i will let it sit for a few week and check it .. this is the first time for me to do this i will try anything . as for the tea donot like red tea it even stain the pot..LOL . i
