I get all of mine for Lee Vally, they are a little bit higher but I do like the expansible dowels. I buy 500 at a time and keep them is sealed jars until I need them.

I have purchased several times from Wood-Dowel. 4,000 dowels total - price was very good (1/3 of Lee Valley price) - quick shipping - no problems with the dowels.

Define bulk. Chicago Dowel will do bulk if you mean business. Minimum order is 10,000. You can get smaller orders at an up charge. I ordered 5000 dowels from them with the up charge. 3" x 3/8" spiral. About 2.3¢ each.
