Not your basic green and white Poplar

The log was found at a sawmill near here on Wednesday. They usually generate nicely colored bowls and this one was a rainbow. This rough turning is being boiled as I type.

Love the mineral streaking in that wood!! Hope it retains all of that color - really striking. Were you able to get more than the one blank?
