Nothing special about the bowl-purposely left thick because of the 'explosion factor'. Thought the wormy wood was worth sharing.

That is one weird lookin chunk of wood. I like the bowl, but I think I would prefer a flat or satin sheen on this textured surface.

Currently I'm deaf but I can "hear" this whistling as you were turning it. Incredible piece of wood. Nicely done.

Nice work. Interesting piece of wood. You probably spent some time thinkiing about this piece before you turned it. I bet woodturners are the only ones who can appreciate a wood worm.

I sure hope all the worms moved out before you started that!! Not crazy about the shine, but it's a cool little bowl!

lots of character there, look nice, I have yet to try anything in burl, but they all the bowls and thingeeze ive seen made of it looks so nice.

That's about as earthy as it gets. Great job just getting it on the lathe in one piece to say nothing of getting it round. Nice job. Thanks for the looks

WOW! That is one wormy chunk of burl! Love the texture of the piece and it sure knows how to grab your attention! Pretty cool!

That is the most wormy piece of wood I have ever seen turned. Reminds me of driftwood that the shipworms have been into.
