Just found this great site with lots of Corel info and Laser tutorials. They even supply the files you need to work through the tutorials.

Here is a youtube video also produced by MTM. This is an excellent video on engraving black marble or granite, using Corel only.

Here is a youtube video also produced by MTM. This is an excellent video on engraving black marble or granite, using Corel only.

When using this process for laser engraving photo's I find using "Publish to PDF" in CorelDraw then using Adobe Reader to view the file gives a better preview for comparison than in CD.

CorelDraw does a crappy job of rendering B/W 1 bit bitmaps, if you use Publish to PDF then use adobe reader to view the file you get a closer representation of what it will look like after engraved.
