Hey guys,
I currently have a old Dunlap 12 3/4" Dril press that my grandpa gave me. OWWM says its from the 40's. It still works, quite well actually, but i find myself having a hard time getting my holes right on (prolly user error), and i also notice i can move the spindle a bit of i grab it and shake. I tore it apart last night and cannot for the life of me figure out where the movement is coming from.
Anyway....im considering purchasing a JET JDP-17DX or the Ridgid. Ridgid got really good reviews, but i woudlnt mind paying a bit more for the jet as its more machine.
Is it worth it for me to upgrade from my old bench drill press to the JET or Ridgid? I have about 300 holes i have to drill for my shop project.
