Maple NE - Naked NE

Heck I dont know what the technical name is for it, the bark wasnt willing to stay on so its a Natural Edge with the bark in the hopper of the dust collector:cool:

This Maple has spalting, mineral stain and some really cool greys and blues along with some insect activity and flecks that I am not sure I was able to capture fully on film. Its 6.6 x3 x 1/4 and I havent fully decided on a fina finish. It has a wipe of BLO on it now and I am really liking the low sheen it has and dont think I want to go glossy on this one.
