Redwood Burl, about soup bowl size, finish is shelac. Comments and Criticism appreciated. This is my third bowl... bowl 2 (black cherry) was confiscated by my significant other.

Rick, you sure have started out with some nice wood selections!! This is a beautiful piece of burl!! Looks like you are going to be a bowl turning machine! Very nice finish work on the bottom, and a neat rim detail.

Pretty bowl. You must have some guts starting out with a burl for bowl #3!

Haha, it was a cake walk compared to soft punky spalted sycamore. Actually Redwood burl turns like a dream! It's no fun unless you just go for it sometimes.
