I found a great side benefit to having a laser engraver, a chance to get a couple of hours with my daughter.

She needed some Christmas gifts for her friends so after some discussion she wanted to personalize some .15 cent tiles. She used a Sharpie permenant marker and paper towels to fill in the text. I also showed her how to use a drill press to drill the holes.

Good one, Everett! You did something we don't see too much anymore, you shared a skill with your kid! She'll remember that forever with fondness. Too bad you're so poor she has holes in her knees. lol
