Delta State University leads 14-10 at the half over Minnesota-Duluth in the D-II Championship game. [ESPN3 w/on-line simulcast].
They are formally the Statesmen, but the students came up with another team name - the Fighting Okra.
How can you NOT root for a team with that name? Saw them in the D-II semi-finals, and bought a tee shirt for SWMBO and one for me. We're all geared up today. This is one FIERCE-LOOKING vegetable!!
