Here is a play house I just finished for my 2 yr old Grandsons Christmas present. Hardly fine woodworking but I am sure he will like it. It is about 5' long, 5' wide and 4' high. The box on the side is for his toys and the yellow rectangle over the door is a magnetic signboard made from some zinc flashing for his magnetic letters and numbers. He even has "hurricane shutters" over the window. It is made from scrap lying around the shop and some plywood left over from a construction project, my son painted it as I hate painting with a vengeance! The train was his present last year.

Maybe not "fine" woodworking, but I would bet the grandson will consider it very fine woodworking. Great job!

Love the 4th picture. Wish I was there. I'm sure he will enjoy this for some time.

Thanks, knowing kids he will probably play with the cardboard box his other toys are packed in!
The train is based on one my father made for my son many moons ago. The 4th picture is my workshop deck :)
