If I draw a rectangle in Corel 12 and want to center a single line of text inside it horizontally, is there a way to do it? I can center it on a page but don't know how to do it within a rectangle.
Thanks,
Bob

Click on the text, then hold down the shift key and click on the rectangle.
After you do that then press "c" on the keyboard to center left and right
than press "e" on the keyboard to center up and down.

Question...do you have a rectangle and a text object (two seperate objects) or is text inside the rectangle (any vector object can be used to hold text). If it's the latter, go to the paragraph docker and select Vertical alignment dropdown and click "Center".

Bob,
Here is a link to the Shortcut Keys for V 12. These are very helpful
