Here are some bracelets that I've tryed. I made a internal collet that uses a pipe plug to expand on the inside bored to 2.625. There are made with walnut, maple, coffee wood, ash. Finish with spray lacquer and buffed.

Dahl, that is some really nice work. Great combos on the laminations, and looks like they are finished out very well.

Just like everyone else says, those are very nicely done. They look great and are probably a simple way to use up some smaller pieces. I'd like to see your collet so maybe I can give them a try....

Here is the collet it is nylon threaded 1-8 to screw on to the spindle and has a 1-1/4 tapperd pipe thread. Then I sawed it in 4 places which gives us 8 segments to expand.

Nice work on the bracelets Dahl. Wood combos work very well together..
