Engraved Shotgun stock

I finally refinished and engraved my shotgun stock.
It didn't turn out as dark as I would of liked, but I am happy with it.

Good design, Ross! I wonder if you sanded the high spots more if you would get more contrast?

I probably could sand it, but the wood was Hard Maple that was stained that color.
