too interesting... reminds me of that middle eastern member whose name i'm blanking on right now who built all these tools out of every day stuff

Kind of neat stuff.

I have had a Dremel for years, it was the type that did not have variable speed and it was only used once in a blue moon.

I just picked up a 4000 and find that its a great little tool for small type stuff and I just may have to look at this stuff a little closer.

Could you be talking about Khalid Khattak, the guy who was making a 3D scanner using Legos and such?
