Been tuning my grandfathers Dewalt with guidance from Wally's book "how to master the radial arm saw". Have built his "best table ever", 36" by 17", 1 1/2" thick mdf fortified with steel. Next I need to build two 8' extension tables, one for each side of the saw.

Several questions;

How is the replaceable fence built and attached to best table ever in such a way as to not compromise accuracy with each swap out?

Which extension table fence system should I purchase that has a smooth, accurate sliding flip stop which works in tandem with applied tape measure for quick repeatable cuts?

How does extension table fence relate to replaceable fence? Are they precisely in line with one another or is the extence table fence set slightly back to allow for less than pefectly straight boards? How does the joining of the two fences affect measuring tape placement and accuracy?

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
