Bob, nice work on the stick things, and the form! Ebony finishes out nicely, but is not one of my favorite woods to turn. It can be challenging, but looks like you did a nice job with it.

Understatement of the year!!! You are doomed! Unlike many others, I love turning ebony. It just take such a nice polish. I really like the shape of this one.

That piece has some WOW factor to it. Neat form and the finial and pedestal are unique.

That's a great piece . . . BUT . . . the stem is way too thin IMO - it makes it look like the main HF is going to break off at any minute. JMO.

Very nice shape and finish here and I like how the form is mirrored in the pedestal and finial. Like Frank, I also think the pedestal is too narrow imbalancing the piece. But then think of the source.

Thanks Ron. It's about 5" at the widest point.
