My First Pens

These are my first pens (and pencils); Christmas presents for my family members. They are mesquite and finished with Shellawax. Sent them out to Mike at Kallenshaan last Wednesday and got them back yesterday.
I now want to try a couple with CA finishes. This is contagious, isn't it.

Nice looking first pens you have there. Contagious is right, looks like you just caught the bug. I just ordered and finished one of those 30 Cal cartridge pens in deer antler. I really liked the look and feel, a real manly pen with some heft to it.

Oh, my, that is a bad place to go. Pen making is very addictive for sure. You really did a nice job on those pens. Now you will be looking at everything as "I wonder if I could make a pen out of that".
