well finaly had some time to finish one of the ambrosia bowls I've been working on Its not a very good example of the blanks I have! just practicing my bowl turning techniques untill I get a little better to turn the good stuff!
It was dryed using Dave Smith's method No finish just buffed on the Beall system.
Sorry my pics are not very good I need to set up a photo booth!:o

Jim, it is about time you turned some of that pretty wood you've been shipping all over the place. It looks good but it does not look like it was turned on a Powermatic... :p ;) :D

Not yet Big Mike just my little Jet Mini:D
I would try to sell my body but I don't think I would make much money:D
So I will have to stick to selling work and bowl blanks for now I hope it wont be long though:rolleyes:
Thanks Buddy

The bowl looks good but I'm sure it looks even better "in person'. I am beginning to improve in my photos and it didn't take much. The type of light is so important I have found.

Nice job on the bowl, Jim! I think you did that Ambrosia some justice there, my friend! :) Whenever I make my way back to the lathe, I'm going to have to give that drying method a good go-around. Keep up the great work!
