Just snagged a Dewalt DW734 from Amazon, now comes the hard part: Waiting.

I was looking at a remanufactured unit, but doing the math, I found that a New one, with free shipping and a $25 discount code came in at just about $355. the reman was going to be $360 with shipping...

Pic police, rest assured I'll be posting pics when it does arrive.:D

$355 for a 734? Do you mean the 735? Because just before Christmas the 735 was going for under $400 pretty much everywhere. And Amazone had it for $350 after all the discounts were had.
And I thought that the 734 was well under $350 all the time.
Regardless which one you got. Congrats on your new toy! I know you will enjoy it for a long time to come.:)

I bought the 735 for $459, then when Lowes had the big 20% off sale, my wife went in and got them to give the 20% off even though the planer had been bought nearly 3 months earlier. So the price ended up being $367.20 plus 7% sales tax bringing it too a grand total of $392.90 That had to be the easiest $101 I have ever got.:)

I just hooked up the DW735 I got for Christmas ($399) and it performs flawlessly. The unit also came with the DW stand for $79 from Amazon as well as with the chip collector which can be attached to a waste drum. I did all of this by yesterday and cut my first boards down to size. Couldn't be happier with the result. Does anyone have experience with resharpening the blades?
I have a local shop that claims it will do it.

haven't seen the 735 at that price, but I did mean the 734. I'm borrowing a 733 at the moment, and expect I'll be very happy with the unit when it comes in.
