I have seen a lot of very nice ornaments posted on the Creek. I also have been making them for Christmas presents this year. Two of them are dyed Oak with gold and silver paint applied, rubbed in and wiped off quickly. The rest are dyed Maple and all are finished with gloss Wipe On Poly. They are all hollowed. It has been fun and a learning experience.

These are some knock-out ornaments. I especially like what you have done with the texture and paint. The finials are nicely done and complement the forms.

Marc, very nice work on all of them. For first impressions, the four on the bottom have the most appealing form to me, and I really like the bottom right - really pretty!

Wonderful work on the whole bunch. If I were to pick a favorite, I'd go for the 1st ornament in the second photo. Great work.

These are all real interesting Marc:cool:! Hadn't thought of this type of shape before but I'm gonna think about it now;)

The middle two get my vote but all are outstanding eye candy.

Thanks for the kind words guys. My personal favorite is the upper right, but the others are prettier. The bottom right is for my father in law who is a Detroit Lions fan. I have another which is green and gold for my mother in law who likes the Packers.

The ornaments are 2 1/4" -2 3/4" in diameter Tom. I am glad you like them.

I think we must have very similar taste David. They are all very beautiful, that one grabs my attention and screams spectacular!
