I just put a Rockler zero clearance insert on my table saw. I would like to add a splitter to the insert, but was wondering what you guys recommend. I found a few different ones on Rockler, but they all have mixed reviews. Has anyone had experience with one that works well & does not cost a fortune?

An MJ splitter is on all my ZCI's.
It seems to do the job fine.
Around $20.00 - more or less.

MJ has a few different models.

I have seen guys use a small small metal pin (I think it was actually a drill bit) inserted into a hole in the insert. Worked fine, though it left a gap between the "splitter " and the blade.

If you can't use the one that came with your saw, try the MJ Pro. That's what I use. I would also suggest the Shark, or the b o r k they are a little more money than the MJ but maybe better.
