Thats about what they are asking around here for a 45. I am no expert on lathes but unless your are going to turn outboard or platters on a faceplate, I don't see much advantage over your delta midi other than more mass.

While these are awlsome lathes and very HD,I think that the 800 is alittle high unless it has all the accessories.500 would be tops for me without the accessories,now if it was the PM90 & VS and in top shape then maybe.
But if you go out and price a Jet or other brand that is as close to quality as this lathe then you would be paying 1000 plus,again IMO.So really its what its worth to you.
Usually this lathes has a 220v 3phase motor and I would also take off the belt guard and look for pulleys that may be slipping and if any damage.
This lathe here in the pic had a cheap price but also had issues and it cost me more money but in the end it was worth every penny and I would not take less than 1500 for it,if it was for sale.-----Carroll

Looks like Mike's PM90 he just won at auction for $300... guess he got a real steal.
