Hello, And Happy New Year to all, My question is what blade do you use with your tenoning jig. I have Forrest WWII in the saw pretty much all time. I was think that a ripping blade might be better because of the square tooth. apposed to the ABT design of the Forrest blade. your thoughts and opinions are appreciated.

I use my WW-II for this...it gives you the nicest and cleanest cuts for the shoulders before you use the jig and with proper adjustment, it will not score anywhere visible. A ripping blade might be more efficient, however, for long/deep tenons with the jig, but for me, not enough to justify changing over.

Personally I think you can make cleaner joints usind a bandsaw....a great blade for that is a 1/2'' ..10tpi....025 raker Lenox or Timberwolf...it cuts like a backsaw in the hands of a master! Even the larger blades like the Trimaster will produce nice joints. Then the ATB tablesaw issues and gone and less shoulder plane work if any.
