Are the import copy of the Lion brand trimmer any good? Grizzly has the best price by $45to $75 bucks. Anyone Own the Grizzly? Giving the edge to Lee Valley but $50 more for what looks to be the same trimmer is kinda hard to over look.

Just a question on these thing, do they really do the job?

How much will they trim, like a 1/16 or is it less?

They work well for what they are intended to do, trim picture frame moldings. They will not always trim outside miters, it depends on the profile. Think about trimming a cove molding, you would have to put the edge of the cove against the fence and when you cut, the molding will try to roll over.
