The blade on my 10" Delta CMS is worn out. Can I put one of my extra table saw blades on it? I have spare 29 tooth and a 40 tooth carbide blades. Is this a bad idea? Will they work well?

If this isn't a good idea then what type of blade should I purchase? I have a bunch of wood flooring to trim to length and I hate powering up the TS every few minutes to cut a piece of flooring.

You should generally use a blade designed for a CMS on a CMS...the negative hook angle is important for safety. Table saw blades have either a zero hook angle or a postive hook angle...much too agressive for a CMS. A 60t or better CMS blade is what you want on this tool for clean cross-cuts.

Thanks Jim, that is just the type of information I needed. I guess I'll either keep using the TS or make a run to Lowes.
