Besides Woodcraft, is there anywhere to buy lumber near / around the city? I am just starting out and want to try my hand at some cutting boards so I decided on some maple boards with cherry ends (a plan I found from woodsmith shop). I looked around on the internet as well as woodfinder and couldn't find anything that looked promising, anyone out there with any suggestions? Thanks

Check this mill in NW Oklahoma out. I buy all of my lumber there. Not sure how far it is from OKC, but it may be worth the drive if you buy a good bit of lumber each time you go. They have excellent oak, walnut, cherry and maple but also have a lot of exotic woods as well. They also have specialty plywood like QS oak and very nice walnut.

Don't know anything about these 2 places and have no connection with them. Googled OKC lumber and OKC hardwood
