Thank you John. i have Trans Tint Dies. i did one custom Howler in black. Learn. take wood out quick or it will be dark. i use it with Denatured alcahol. want to try the bright Yellow next. Rick:)

That Maple sure is pretty, and a satin finish does it justice!

Rick, if you apply black dye while on the lathe, sand it back to where it appears there is little left in the wood, then hit it with a color dye, the effect is dramatic on something as highly figured as this quilted maple.
