Here are the two boxes I gave my parents for christmas, along with a scrollsawn wall piece.

The cats plaque
the two boxes: left one is a cherry and maple sliding dovetail lid, the right a knipferesque cherry with maple end box.

Here is a shot of the sliding dovetail box, with the lid on, the lid is glued up from cherry and maple. the sides are some ambrosia maple. the body is a lamination of cherry with maple center divider.

all were finished with the Maloof wonder mix, which set off my father's COPD, hopefully in a few days of outgassing they'll be able to use them, right now they're sitting in his shop with a window open to vent the fumes. Thanks for looking!
