Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I wish I could get some turning in today but I'll be tending to the turkey on the grill and keeping the drinks flowing for our guests.....

Maybe I'll get a chance this weekend, though!

Happy Thanksgiving to all as well! I might sneak in a little turning before the guest arrive. Had to shovel couple of inches of snow this morning in 8 degrees! This it too cold for November

Everyone enjoy the day.

Thank you Alan. Happy Thanksgiving to all. This is a special Thanksgiving for us as we are spending the first one with our grandson who is 7. We will also spend our first Christmas with him this year. They were on the east coast and we only got to see them once a year.

Happy Thanksgiving. This is the second of five days off. Turning tomorrow and deer hunting Saturday. I'll have to see how Saturday goes before deciding between hunting and turning.

Jack, I tried smoking a turkey but I can never keep them lit. Any pointers?
Thanks David, the tears are still rolling!;) Seriously!:)
Happy Turkey Day to all. Cored some bowls this morning and its almost time to go eat. What could be better! My brother in law is hosting at his church's community hall. With 50 + family members coming it makes it easier.

David the EZ-Wides stay lit a little longer then The Zig-Zag's. The problem is getting enough paper stuck together to get them wrapped around the bird.:D

I am smoking a turkey right now on my shotgun smoker. I cut up a oak bowl blank that I had laying around for smoking. I hate turning oak anyway. :)

Have a great day.
