Candle stand

This is a candle stand that I turned from Cherry. The knot was not visible on the blank. I think it looks good. It will hold a regular candle, or one up to 3 inches. There are two ways to display the captured rings.

Nice work on those rings, Dennis!! The knot does give this piece some character, and besides, you take the wood as you find it!

The knot is not hurting a thing. Adds to the conversation about it. BTW is one ring larger then the other or is it just the photo.

Nice holder and rings. I have yet to try and make a captured ring.

The bottom ring is smaller, this will make the top ring flop, if you let both rings set, on the bottom stacked. It allows some one to see that the rings are free from the holder.
