How do I remove pulley from motor?
Do I have to remove key first or just used puller to take it off.?
Thank you.

You should not have to remove the key first (this would be difficult to do). Removing the setscrew and putting some penetrating oil in the setscrew hole may help.

Just loosen the set screw and pull with a puller. Comes out every time ;)

As others have mentioned, loosen the set screw and the pulley should slide off. Some pulleys have two set screws at 90 degrees to each other and occasionally a manufacturer will use two short set screws in a single hole so you have to remove one to loosen the second one in that hole. Also the set screw can put a raised area on the shaft which will tend to lock the pulley in place. You may need a pulley puller to get the pulley off.

depending on the pulley material, I'm assuming it's metal, you can hammer it back in. If possible, get a hollow tube or a socket larger then the diameter of the motor shaft and hammer the pulley back in if it does not slide in smoothly.

It helps to put the new pulley into some very hot water for a few minutes before you try to push it on. It will expand enough to make the job easier.
