I posted a question about these tables on the design forum a few days ago. These pics will show that I disregarded most of the advice. :o, but I thank those of you that responded. :(
Table and drawer unit are designed for the top (not done yet) to be 19 x 26. I'd planned on using framed tile tops, but because of me not thinking ahead (again) I can't use full tiles...and I hate to cut them...so I may stick some corian in instead. A solid wood top is not a good thing around our house. Height with top will be 23", built for our couch. Mesquite, natural WATCO to be topped with Sherwin Williams dull-rubbed pre-cat lacquer (as usual).

The coloring is pretty good. It's really kinda hit and miss with mesquite.

I sat a top I had laying around on it just to see how 'bad' the upper apron looked...and decided it's not offensive to me. The proper top won't be this big.

Drawer unit will have three drawers. I bought Accuride center mount slides, but I may still decide to use wood. The rear panel is divided so there's someplace to attach the slides...else I woulda made it one piece.

Panels are 5/16" thick, resawn and through the Performax about 28 times each.

As with the desk I built last spring, the dividing stiles are inset 1/8" or so to the rails. The chamfer on the rails adds a little visual 'zing'. To me, anyway. :)

Thanks for looking. I'll put up some pics when the drawers and tops are done and they're all finsihed.
