Quick, I can't decide...

I'm building a Mission style china hutch and am going to put a flat crown around the top. I can't decide between a 45 degree angle and a 50 degree angle. It will be about 4.5 inches wide.

Which would you use?

47.5 degrees...just kidding.
How tall is the unit? 50 may be better.

For "Mission" style- I believe 45 deg. will be in keeping w/ the style, and maybe even more pleasing aesthetically. JMHO...Maybe try a mockup in pine?

It was designed to be about 84" with the CM. Either angle looks OK. It's hard to find examples in plans or articles. The reproduction furniture seems to have some very steep angles, some very shallow, and some 45 deg. stuff. I'm probably going with 45 just because I am limited in my width due to a small dining room.
