Looking for help on a headboard

Daughter is looking for a new bed frame and headboard. She is thinking some type of storage shelves etc on the headboard.

I am open to that idea but i also have 6 or 8 pieces of 2 " thick crotch live edge birch that I would like to incoperate into the mix.

Any and all pics of headboards or links to pics of same would be nice

Here's one I did a few years ago. The panels on the headboard are hinged to open downward. Plenty of storage behind them. The headboard hangs on the wall on a french cleat and is screwed into the studs.
