Here is a couple more pens I made recently. They are both majestic kits and both are polyresins. Nothing special, just spun and polished with MM and plastic polish. Thanks for looking.

While I am at it here is a photo of the latest pen racks I made. The first one is Rosewood with yellowheart between the layers and a blue acrylic mirror for the backdrop. The carousel is a rosewood with yellowheart also. The more pens I make the more rack I need to display. Will have to come up with some new ideas. Again thanks for looking.

I would say your passion for turning pens shows in the beauty of your work! Nicely done.

Jeff,

I believe all the pens are acrylics so he MM(micro-meshed) them and used a plastic polish.

Those pens and pen racks are extreamly nice.Did you come up with the 2nd rack pattern? That one is really nice. Would you be willing to share the plan? I would love to make one like that.

Hello Donny. Not sure which rack you are referring to but anyway these were basically done freehand and measurements were not a big concern to me. But if interested I will see what I can dig up and send it to you. I may have some kind of workable sketch.

Hi Jeff. Ken hit it right. These are a polyacrylic and they are spun using a skew and I go right to my micromesh pads from there and use water as my lubricant and I wet sand them right to 12,000 grit. Then I use a good plastic polish and buff. After all said and done I put a coat of Renaissance wax on them to keep the fingerprints off so as to make them more presentable for selling.
