I just bought a Delta 10" Tilting Arbor (Unisaw?) saw on Ebay. I go and pick it up tomorrow.
I was trying to find the approximate dates of manufacture range for this saw and can't find anything.
I did find a manual online and it says copyrighted in 2005. Without seeing the saw, I can't think it is only 5 years old.
Does anyone have any secret information on probable date of manufacture range on this saw? I know I can just wait till tomorrow and then research the serial #,,,,,, but I'm pretty excited.
From what I can tell, it is a right tilt, 5hp saw with a 52" Unifence and Uniguard and was recently removed from service at a high school when they replaced their saws (with Saw Stops, from what I read in another SMC posting).
Once I get the saw home and look it over, maybe then I'll do the "gloat". I would hate to have a "premature e-gloatulation"!
