Found a great source for wood today AND close by

WOW What a week
Found this site and have learned much from you guys.
Today found a source for hardwoods (20 minutes from my house)
I live in Auburn MA....Barrettes Hardwoods is in Thompson CT

Cherry / Oak(both) / Ash / Bass /Maple(both) / Pine / Walnut /Hickory and all sizes > up to 16/4
I really could have stayed there for hours while being educated by the owner

The wood stays in the farm field for 2 years, then it is kiln dried in their own kiln to 7% moisture, then dimensioned in their own area.

When they say 1x6; it is a full 6 inches

Thanks for the link! I live about 30 min northeast of you, so that's within reasonable driving distance. Maybe I can find some quartersawn cherry there for plane bodies.
