New to me anyway.

It's called Route-A Pocket. Looks interesting but don't think it would be as fast to set and use as a Kreg or the like.
Anyone have or use the jig?

no, it won't be very fast at all but i've found that routed pockets generated by either steve clardy's jig or the porter cable production pocket cutter virtually eliminates the "creep" that i used to always get with the kreg pocket hole jig which means less sanding. the only way i found to eliminate creep on the drilled pocket holes is to clamp like crazy unlike the routed pockets which are easily clamped with just one kreg face frame clamp. i still have an older aluminum kreg jig for quick jobs that don't require critically flush surfaces.

I can see that it appears to be well made and does a neat pocket hole but,
there are too many EXTRA steps to making a pocket hole with this method.

Routing a pocket hole in your work piece, then having to drill a hole thru the end for the screw to enter the second piece of wood...nah, not for me!
Did you watch step three about making the hole plug? Too much extra stuff
to mill out ONE hole plug....NOT! If you have a lot of plugs to make will take a long while to make them all....just not my way here!
