Some Birdhouse Ornaments

Here are a few birdhouse ornaments I did last night. Left is Ash, next is a scrap of dunnowood, next two are maple. All about 6" tall, 2" or less diameter, sprayed with deft gloss lacquer.

Thanks! Yes they're hollow, two pieces with the top also being partially hollowed to make them lighter.

Very cool Curt. I REALLY like the tall roofs, it is a nice change up from the normal birdhouse ornament designs.

I've been interested in trying my hand at turning birdhouses as Christmas gifts but never really seen ones I would like to pattern mine after......until now. I think you hit a home run with this design, something about them just clicks and makes them pleasing to the eye. Great job.
