Parden my ignorance, but what is BLO. I'm new at this and looking for something to finish hand made wooden utensils that will look good enough for display as well as be safe to cook with. So far I'm just getting confused with way too much information. I know I can just use mineral oil, but would like something that adds a litt more sheen if polished a little more I have heard of using a combination of mineral oil and parafin wax or bees wax. Just not sure which will do the best job for me. Everything else with this little project of mine has been trial and error, so I guess that tradition shall live on.
