Hey guys and gals,

Just a quick question for all your Corel heads out there. Im a Illustrator CS4 user and for some reason my ai files wont open up in Corel X4...just says file is corrupt?

So I batch converted everything in Illustrator into EPS which opens fine in Corel.
Now I need to figure out in Corel how to batch convert the EPS files to PLT? I found the file converter Macro, but PLT doesnt appear in the drop down.....any ideas?

I need plt as my galvo works best with them.

Thanks folks.

Why go through Corel?

You should be able to add the "Hewlett-Packard HP-GL/2 Plotter" print driver. Then print to a file using that driver. The resulting file will be a plt. Remember to add the extension.

Doug,

I tried that, but got another file etenstion.

Also doing it that way would mean me having to print all my files one by one. I have some 500 so a batch function would save me hours of work.

Jitel,

You could create a batch file for bulk conversion...
