I am looking for someone with sawmill who can cut ash log into lumber.
Log is only 4' long.
I'm 30 mils west of Chicago.
Thank you.

Try searching craigslist use the word lumber. Around here there's a quite a few people who could help with that.

Woodmizer can give you a list of mill owners in your area.

Jaromir,

Ron Meyers does custom sawing in Batavia Illinois, his number is 630 231-2955 and cell is 630 308-2955. Ron harvests urban wood and may have what you are looking for cheaper than sawing your own log, he has alot of nice wood on site at his mill. There is also the Illinois Arborist Assocition, look under the certified arborist tab, here is a link to the site. http://www.illinoisarborist.org/index.html
Also just want to say hello to a neighbor, we are about 30 minutes apart at best.

I've purchased some maple from them and had it milled to my requirements. They may be able to help.
