I made two of these candy dispensers for Christmas presents.
1 for my 9 year-old niece and the other for my 7 month-old granddaughter.
Nothing fancy; just red oak, a mason jar, Waterlox finish and wax.
Thanks for looking.
May all of your wooden creations please the recipient as much as they please you.
Have a wonderful New Year.

That looks elegantly simple in it's design. To bad there's no simple way to make it coin operated.

I may borrow that design.

Thanks for posting.

Very nice Gary! I'll bet the girls will hand them down to their children.

Looks good! You may be filling that jar pretty often. Great work.

Part of the deal was that I'd be responsible for the FIRST filling.

They're on their own after that!!!! :D

How did you get the lid to stay stuck to the wood? Screws? Looks good!

Two small screws hold the lid ring to the wood.

Nice job Gary. I like the simplicity of the design as well. Reminds me of when times were simpler and less complicated. 'Course in those simpler, less complicated times, I may never have been able to see your project and gain inspiration from it.

Thanks for posting, I have copied the pics to my PC and will put them on next years gift making list.

Happy New Year.
